  1. My husband and I were looking at a number of different kid size pianos for our “Santa” gift for our 2.5 yr old. She loves here little digital Casio keyboard and her Grandma’s big piano. Since we want to capitalize on her love of music and get her going, we wanted to get a piano. This is beautifully made and super solid. Unfortunately, we did not understand that it was not going to sound anything like a piano. It sounds clangy and chimy since it is a plastic hammer hitting a thin metal rod. We made the mistake of waiting until Xmas Eve to put it together and try it. Had we more intelligently done it sooner, we would have returned it and spent half the money on the digital one with karaoke mike. Our daughter bangs on it periodically but is not as excited about it as the digital we hoped to say goodbye to and other pianos she’s been around.

  2. The first delivery was defective. One of the keys was not working. The replacement was great, but parts of the piano have chipped. My 2 and 3 YO enjoy it.

  3. My 20 month old son got this baby grand piano for Christmas this year, and he absolutely LOVES it!!! He plays and looks to see if we are watching him. He will clap after he plays a little bit. He actually can play without banging the keys all the time. It has a beautiful tone and the music it comes with is easy to practice with. I predict he will get lots of enjoyment out of this piano over the next few years.
